Keep the conversation natural. Make the listening easier.

Good podcast editing is a series of decisions about what supports the episode. Distracting noise, uneven voices and awkward pauses can interrupt the listening experience. We work with your direction to polish the recording while keeping the conversation’s character.

Tell us how you want the show to feel. A tightly structured business interview may need a different approach from an informal conversation. Share examples and flag any important context before the edit so we can discuss the right style and scope.

Podcast audio editing can include

Editing can improve a recording, but it cannot always recover missing or severely distorted audio. If you have concerns about the source files, describe them before the quote. For your next session, our recording checklist can help you plan a cleaner handoff.

Production support beyond the audio file

Need someone to help coordinate the release as well as the edit? Discuss show notes, artwork, launch support and podcast publishing alongside your audio production. We agree on those services so you know what is included in the plan.

If you record video too, visit our video podcast editing page. We can discuss the audio episode and video version together rather than treating the release plan as an afterthought.

Podcast editing plans and pricing

Our current pricing page explains podcast production retainer options and available add-ons. For a recommendation, tell us the typical raw recording length, how often you release episodes and which services you need.

Compare the scope as well as the price. An audio edit, an episode with show notes and a managed release involve different deliverables. Make sure the quote explains recording-length limits, the feedback process and any work outside the package.

What happens when you get in touch?

  1. Share your show. Send a link if you have one, or describe your planned format and audience.
  2. Discuss the production needs. Tell us about episode length, frequency, recording setup and desired support.
  3. Agree on the scope. Confirm deliverables, pricing, timing and feedback before starting.
  4. Send the recordings. Provide the source files, show assets and notes for your editor.
